Divas Gotta Look Their Best

Several of the Divas who follow BriefcaseDiva are in the fashion industry.  They are either designers, illustrators, and/or merchandisers and they keep me informed on the latest fashions.  I love that! There’s one thing that I find so attractive and that is a well dressed man or woman.

When meeting someone for the first time, I notice their smile, then my eyes head straight to the shoes and work my way up. I pay close attention to their style (and sometimes lack thereof).   When you dress in beautiful clothing (that fits well), you feel confident about yourself, and you exude joy and happiness to those around you.

The Fall 2009 Collections Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is in New York City September 10th to 17th.  It is one of four major fashion weeks in the fashion industry and is widely recognized as the world’s premier fashion event.

While I will not be attending this event, as it is by invitation only, I think it would be a complete blast and a half.  It’s a HUGE ordeal in the fashion industry.  Many celebrities and folks in the fashion industry will be attending. Basically, the whos-who of the celebrity and fashion world.  I’m anxious to see what the Fall lineup is going to include.

Not to mention just spending time in New York.  I’ve never been to New York City but have a huge craving to go.  I’d love to shop, shop, and shop some more…then take in some Broadway shows.  Just the scenery alone would be great.  And, if I were to meet my icon “The Donald”, I’d probably stroke out right there on the street!

Oh my, I’ve gotta plan a trip! Anyone want to plan with me?  I’m totally going to look for a New York Vacation Rental and make a trip to New York City a reality. I want to ride the subway, eat dirty-water hot dogs, visit museums, catch a Broadway show, and shop until I drop!

Rumor has it that the best fashions come out of New York and I love fashion!  If you’ve been to New York City, tell me all about it.  I may just have to live vicariously through you!
