Review: Bryton Pick – The New Way to Floss

I am a fanatic about teeth.  There’s nothing more appealing than a beautiful smile and white teeth (okay, maybe a sexy pair of shoes!)  My kids know the routine…brush, floss, and swish. I chant those words daily.  Growing up, my children learned the importance of good dental hygiene and, in fact, my oldest daughter has made a career in the dental field.bryton pick flossing pick

A few weeks ago when the Bryton Pick came across my desk, I was eager to give it a whirl.  I was intrigued by the packaging and the boomerang-like flossing device.

The flossing pick has flexible stainless steel cleaning edges and are considered germ resistant.  The flossing edges are super thin as regular dental floss which makes it easy to slide the pick between your teeth.

Using an in and out motion, this pick removes food, plaque, and other things stuck in your teeth. According to the packaging, the Bryton Pick protects against tooth decay and gum inflammation.

What I like about this product is that it is convenient to carry in my purse and easily removes food debris after eating a meal without pulling out the dental floss.  I feel that I can be discreet in using this product.

The pick does come with a plastic carrying case, which is the size of a credit card so it will fit into any wallet. Plus, the product is reasonably priced based on the fact that it is reusable for up to 30 days.  The Bryton Pick can be purchased online or at various drug stores.

This would be a great device to use for those who have braces as you can floss from behind the teeth.  Oh how I wish I had these when my kids were in braces!

I really like this product and will continue using it, however I’m not ready to give up my regular dental floss just yet.  While the Bryton Pick is great to clean your teeth after a meal or on the go, I feel dental floss does a much better job in cleaning between your teeth.

I give this product a 4-heel rating based on the fact that I will continue to use my dental flossing string in addition to the Bryton Pick.

Let me know if you’ve used the Bryton Pick and what you think about it.

That’s all for now.  Until next time…wear your heels well!
